OnTrackDiabetes.com (formerly DiabeticLifestyle) is part of the Vertical Health family of websites. For 20 years, people managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and prediabetes—as well as their families and caregivers—have looked to us for support in every area of diabetes disease management. Now we’re proud to also include the OnTrackDiabetes app, in addition to the site, as one more tool to help keep you on track.
OnTrackDiabetes is full of practical, up-to-date and medically reviewed articles, podcasts, webinars and video on the most effective way to manage blood glucose, your diet, exercise, mental health, and medications so that you can thrive with diabetes.
The OnTrack Diabetes site grew out of sites initially founded in 1997: DiabeticLifestyle and Diabetic-Recipes which were merged into DiabeticLifestyle in 2011. DiabeticLifestyle covered all of the much-needed basics with info on blood sugar, medications, and more. Diabetic-Recipes, a digital diabetes recipe library, continues to be one of the most popular areas on the site. Frances Towner Giedt and Bonnie Sanders Polin, PhD, the original founders, were the ultimate pros when it came to cooking diabetes dishes that taste really good and are good for you. The duo wrote the Joslin Diabetes Gourmet Cookbook, the only diabetes cookbook to have ever won the highly coveted James Beard Cookbook Award. Their cookbook was also nominated for the renowned Julia Child Cookbook Award.
OnTrack Diabetes is a digital property of Vertical Health, LLC, one of the fastest-growing patient and professional digital health media companies.
