For most of her career, Nikki has worked as a healthcare journalist—starting as an Associate Editor and working up to Editor in Chief for a number of physician-directed newspapers in the fields of anesthesiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, and pharmacy. Prior to becoming Managing Editor at Vertical Health, Nikki worked for a Continuing Medical Education company, where she oversaw the development of programs in psychiatry, pain management, diabetes, and oncology. She also helped develop the curriculum for an annual psychiatry conference.

Nikki resides in New Jersey with her husband and three children.
