She is also the host of The Diabetes Dish podcast, which is currently ranked #1 in Google search for diabetes podcasts. An award-winning digital health writer, editor and producer, Maureen is a veteran in the online health media space. She creates compelling content across multiple platforms, including print and digital articles, video, podcasts and documentary film.

Prior to joining Vertical Health in 2015, Maureen created content for a variety of media outlets, including Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute, PBS, NBC's iVillage, The Dr. Oz Show, Random House, Hearst, Conde Nast, and Time Inc. publications. She is the author of three books, including The Essential C-Section Guide (Random House) and Unbuttoned: Women Open Up About the Pleasures, Pains and Politics of Breastfeeding (Harvard Common Press; starred review Publishers Weekly.) Her PBS segment on Vaccine Safety won a Telly Award. Her e-book Ready, Set, Baby was a 2014 Digital Book Award finalist for best new adult non-fiction app.
