Minted Tossed salad with Mint

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 6 Cups mesclun lettuce (or other lettuce of your choice)
  • 1 Cup fresh mint leaves torn into brie size pieces
  • 1 Tbs chopped chives
  • 1 ½ Tbs white wine vinegar
  • 1 ½ Tbs olive oil
  • 1 ½ Tbs water
  • pepper
  • 1/8 Tsp salt (optional)

Directions

  1. Slice garlic in half
  2. Rub the inside of a wooden salad bowl with the garlic.
  3. Place the greens, mint, and chives in the bowl
  4. Combine all ingredients for the vinaigrette and sprinkle on the salad. (white wine vinegar, olive oil, water, pepper, and salt)
  5. Toss well and serve immediately.
